Yesterday I woke up and traveled to Brooklyn to attend a viewing of the Children's Defense Fund BCCC launch. What a powerful day it was. Young men from the Eagle Academy joined us and commented on what the state of Black Men in America from their prospective. Young Leaders who were "Haley Farm Raised" were using social media to give a play-by-play of the event. Overall, I felt hopeful that we might really get all our foot soldiers mobilized!
